MAMS [Miguel Ángel Muñoz Sanjuán] (Madrid, Spain, 1961) is the author of six poetry collections: Una extraña tormenta (1992), Las fronteras (2001), Los dialectos del éxodo (2007), Cartas consulares (2007), Cantos: &: Ucronías (2013) y: Memorical-Fractal: (2017). His work has been featured in several anthologies, including Poesía Experimental Española (antología incompleta) (2012), Voces del Extremo Madrid 2014 (Poesía y desobediencia) (2014) and El octavo pasajero (2017). He organized the First Conference of Spanish Young Poetry in honor of Luis Cernuda (1988). He was the founder and manager of the poetry press Abraxas (1989). Some of his poems have been translated to English for the journal Low-Fi Ardentía; to Greek for Frear “Antología de poesía española” (2015); and to Mandarin for Contemporary International Poetry “7 Contemporary Avant-garde Poets in Spain” (2018). He collaborated in the Spanish editions of e.e. cummings’s Buffalo Bill ha muerto (Antología poética 1910-1962) (1996); Rafael Pérez Estrada’s La palabra destino (2001); Enrique Gil y Carrasco’s El señor de Bembibre (2004); Osip Mandelstam’s Sobre la naturaleza de la palabra y otros ensayos (2005); Juan Carlos Mestre’s El universo está en la noche (2006) and Las estrellas para quien las trabaja (2007); and José María Millares’s No-Haiku (2014).
