MATTHEW WILDER is directing his script “One More Sleepless Night” this summer with Rainey Qualley and Jonathan Rhys Meyers starring. SENECA, which he co-wrote with director Robert Schwentke, featuring John Malkovich, premiered in February at the Berlin Film Festival. (It is the only movie since Antonioni’s ZABRISKIE POINT to receive an ode from America’s master poet, Frederick Seidel.) Wilder wrote and directed REGARDING THE CASE OF JOAN OF ARC, which was the centerpiece of the Indian National Film Festival in Goa in 2018, and YOUR NAME HERE, for which Bill Pullman received a Special Jury Prize from Cinevegas in 2007. He wrote Paul Schrader’s DOG EAT DOG, starring Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe, and executive produced Tim Hunter’s LOOKING GLASS, also starring Cage. Wilder received a B.A. cum laude from Yale and an MFA in directing from UC-San Diego.
